23rd March 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light airs Surf / Sea State: smooth Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods with light winds Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sunday 23rd March - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods with light airs. We had rain first thing here in Felixstowe had a lay-in, it dries up and we got a little sun, we both did our exercises then Mag tinkers in the garden before we take the van as Mag needed some compost at 2.30 and I was hoping to get back for the start of the ladies rugby match between England and Italy. After a quick visit to the shops we park up at Brackenbury for a walk along the prom to The Dip. I was lovely too with light winds, the sea flat and hazy out to sea, got some sun too. We bump into an old friend walking her sausage dog and stop for a lovely catch-up chat before continuing to the steps at the cliff-top car park returning to the van along the top path, a really nice Sunday afterboon stroll:) Mag finds me the rugby on catch-up, England have a good first half but a poor second half but still beat Italy easily!
